The Swans Nest Stratford-upon-Avon is located on the south side of the River Avon close to the heart of Shakespeare's Stratford. It is just a short walk to the town's shops and cultural attractions. The attractive, 17th century townhouse is one of the oldest hotels in Stratford-upon-Avon and one of the town's earliest examples of a red brick building. From its enviable position overlooking the river guests can really make the nost of their time in this delightful and historic corner of England.
The hotel was extensively refurbished in 2008, breathing new life into the venue whilst preserving many original features.The rooms now have a more modern edge with upgraded facilities including flatscreen TVs and free broadband access.
The Swans Nest Stratford-upon-Avon has 68 en suite guestrooms which are the perfect place to relax after a busy day taking in the sights and shops of Stratford. The bedrooms are mainly contemporary in style and many overlook the garden, terrace or the River Avon. Some have the added luxury of walk in, monsoon showers.

Suites are the most luxurious options at the Swan's Nest with lovely views over the town. They have a bath with a monsoon shower as well as a sofa and coffee table, which makes them the perfect choice to relax in comfort and style.
There is also one accessible twin room at the Swan's Nest Stratford-upon-Avon. Located on the ground floor it has widened doors, a wet room and handrails to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible.

Previously guests of the hotel used the dining facilities at the Swan's Nest's sister hotel, the Alveston Manor. However , following the hotel's refurbishment in 2008 the Swan's Nest has welcomed in the franchise of Le Bistro Pierre.
Le Bistro Pierre has a relaxed, yet stylish atmosphere which makes it popular with locals, visitors and actors alike. The emphasis is on responsibly sourced, provincial French cuisine at affordable prices. The restaurant serves breakfast, luch and dinner, including a fixed 2-3 course menu, a la carte and pre-theatre dining. Enjoy the picturesque river views from the outdoor terrace during the warmer months.
The Bear Freehouse and Kitchen offers a more informal, yet still delicious, dining option right next door to Le Bistro Piere. There is a wide selction of cask ales, lagers and wines by the glass to enjoy.
The Swans Nest Stratford-upon-Avon is a great venue for small business conferences or functions with eight well-equipped meeting spaces. All of the rooms have natural daylight and complimentary internet access. The largest meeting space is the Garden Suite which can accommodate up to 150 delegates in a theatre style or it can split into three equal sized rooms of required.
As well as the formal meeting rooms the Lobby Lounge at the Swans Nest is perfect for a more laid-back meeting or just drinkswith its cosy sofas and coffee tables

Although the hotel has no leisure facilities of its own, guests of the Swans Nest Stratford-upon-Avon are welcome to use the facilities at the Alveston Manor, the Swan's sister hotel which is just across the road. There are plenty of options including an 18 metre pool, sauna, steam room, Technogym and six treatment rooms.
The Swans Nest Stratford-upon-Avon is just a five minute walk from the town centre. The theatres, shops and attractions are well within reach. Although you have to cross the river to reach the town centre there is life on the south bank as well. Stratford Butterfly Farm is just along the road and is worth a visit; Stratford Sport Club is just a short walk away; and Stratford Golf Club is perfectly positioned for golfers.
The Swans Nest is located just a mile from Stratford-upon-Avon Train Station. The nearest airport is Birmingham International, just 27 miles away.
