The Mercure Shakespeare Hotel Stratford is a wonderful Tudor building with low ceilings, open fire places and wooden beams. It is full of character and old world charm and unmistakable, with its bold white and black Tudor front immediately catching the eye.
Although this charming 16th-century Stratford hotel is steeped in rich history, there are plenty of interesting modern twists as you wander through the Mercure Shakespeare Hotel Stratford-upon-Avon. Unusual touches like cow print covered stools echo the ever-present Tudor colours but from a different approach. As you alight outside in the courtyard gardens or meander the uneven floors upstairs, time rewinds again. It all adds character and authenticity while throwing the occasional high-five to modernism!
