The White Hart Hotel Salisbury has wonderful views of beautiful Salisbury cathedral and its soaring 404-feet tall spire. The spire is the tallest in the country and one of the many inspirations for William Golding's novel of the same name. Other attractions in this charming city include the 13th-century Medieval Hall and the atmospheric winding lanes which are teeming with boutique shops, traditional pubs, and cafes. There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area such as mystical Stonehenge and Salisbury Plain. The New Forest National Park is just a short distance to the south.
